Midland University sees the creative, skilled and committed students at Striv schools as fitting for Midland’s quality, programs and culture, and an investment in the future of Nebraska. 

Founded in 1883, Midland University is a small liberal arts college in Fremont, Nebraska providing relevant opportunities in more than 30 academic areas. Recently recognized by the Chronicle of Higher Education as the 9th fastest-growing private, nonprofit baccalaureate institution in the country, Midland takes a modern approach to liberal arts education. Their innovative approach of working from the marketplace back provides students with relevant skills to learn and lead in the world with purpose.

Midland University in partnership with Striv is offering 25 Striv Scholarships for the 2020-2021 academic year. Each of the 25 scholarships will be a $20,000 renewable scholarship to Midland University for a total value of $80,000 per scholarship.

APPLICATION PROCESS

2020-2021

*Strive Scholarships require a minimum 3.0 GPA and are contingent upon acceptance to Midland University as a full-time undergraduate student. Striv Scholarships are non-stackable with other Midland University scholarships, but outside (non-Midland funded) scholarships, grants, and awards can be added to Striv scholarships. Applicants not selected for the Striv scholarships may still be eligible for scholarships from Midland University and will be reviewed accordingly.

Interested Striv students must follow the steps outlined below to be considered for the available scholarships. Participation in Striv programs and live-streaming at your school along with Striv activities (camps, conferences, StrivU Academy, and others) will be part of the selection consideration. 

· How has being involved with Striv and other creative media projects at your school helped prepare you for your desired college major?  

· One of Striv's missions is to "ignite your creative genius."  How do you plan to ignite your creative skills at Midland University?

· Striv helps share interesting happenings at your school. As a college student, how would you share information with fellow classmates?
